Today I am doing some more baking etc for the afternoon and hoping the weather holds! It is glorious outside at the moment and no wind - which usually means there is about to be a gale! I just put buffalo wings in the slow cooker (except they are legs) and I will take the dogs for a walk and then make some profiteroles - last on the list is chicken and bacon club sandwiches. I dont want to go overboard for 10 people esp. As Dh and won't eat any of it!

I still have over an hour and a half of Saturday left! rofl

Sunday I hope will be as happy as today is. We've done bugger all really, but it's been so nice just to be at home together.

MIL is away this weekend, so we wont be going there tomorrow. My little sister in law has come to the rescue and will watch the kids at my house while DH and I make the most of our last weekend together before I'm due Shocked We may get more time together of course, but I'm not planning anything for 38 weeks on!

By 'making the most of', I mean shopping rofl There's baby things I need and other bits I'd like to have in for birth. Maybe next weekend while DH is working I can start packing my Homebirth/hospital transfer bag. I'll be taking it as easy as possible since I'm hurting even without doing much today, and we shall stop for a quiet, child-free bite to eat at some point Very Happy Small moments of bliss eh?

An hour and a bit of Saturday left here too, however tomorrow DH is off with my BIL's to take his grandad out for a pint and to watch some football for his birthday- Grandad is Nan's carer as she has severe MH issues (schizophrenia) and she's been refusing medication/treatment for a good couple of months now so things are really hard for him at the moment so SIL & I will sit with Nan whilst the "men folk" take Grandad out down the pub, thankfully I've got my mother to have the kids for me (and sil has her MIL to have hers) as Nan is not suitable for them to be around at the moment Sad (all very sad as when accepting treatment she is everything you could ever dream a Nan & great-Nan would ever be)

Other than that I'll be doing housework & getting ready to avoid everyone on my Birthday (Monday) DH has promised we can escape out and look for tents and grab some lunch together whilst we're out which should be nice.

When Dh gets up we will be going food shopping. Ds made noises about going to the skate park and going swimming so that's him sorted.

While I'm waiting for Dh to get up I may take refuge from wet weather boredom with the Dds at my parents or brother and SIL's. Or, I might just let them empty a lot of toy boxes and get on with the ironing.

Very low key..still feeling a bit off it tbh and not wanting anything hectic, enjoy your time off Elaine, and yours on Mon Beka. I want your cooking Minnow!

Nothing much planned here. Going to bed in a minute as have to be up at half seven to get dd3 to swim training and i'm going to the gym for the first time since my op for a very gentle workout to slowly get myself back into it. DD will be finished by lunch time so it will then be home for home made soup before starting the ironing which is becoming a bit of a mountain right now.
Not got anything else planned right now so will take the rest of the day as it comes

Nothing much planned here. O/h is off home after lunchtime, carting a massive holdall of my stuff, as i gradually pack for moving.

I'm very graciously letting him have a lie-in before i send him up the attic.

Gave up on most house stuff yesterday as DS was bouncing off the walls all morning, so i'll need to tackle that later.

I'm up and trying to force down a banana before I meet my friends at 7.30 for a run. What happened to Sunday morning lie ins Confused

The decorator will be back later, dh is off at the second of his two bee keeping course days and I will have to take ds to his swimming lesson. After that I'm planning a very quiet day Very Happy

I'd really hoped to be back in our bed room today but its not going to happen, never mind.

Well the weather was sunny but windy so we watched the sea from the comfort of the sofa. The Feijoa crumble cake went down very well and the guests had seconds! My friend's Dh and eldest dd did not come in the end as her Dh trying to do his masters and his dissertation is due and her dd has just turned into a teenager - we went to her 12th birthday last week Wink I sent some profiteroles home for them. They stayed for three hours so they must have had fun. Most embarrassing when friend's mother wanted a look around and the bedrooms were a mess. I kept pointing out the art on the walls to distract them rofl

Hardly any food left which is amazing although Dh and I did not stick to our good intentions and slipped off the diet. That will make it very hard tomorrow as it is not the sort of diet you can fall off .... Oh well!

I've just had to get up to have breakfast so I'm ready for combat at 9.30 - the beauty of having older kids means that I'm the only one up Very Happy

We have nothing planned at all for the rest of the day - DH went to clear his Dad's house yesterday, so I'm sure there's a load of junk we need to sort through, and I really ought to do a bit of housework and washing banghead and the girls both have homework to do.

Have a lovely day today Elaine, and happy birthday for tomorrow Beka Very Happy

Well we are in Scarborough but its not sitting on the beach weather so when we've finished breakfast I'm going to pop to Sainsburies for some screen wash for the car then we are going to drive to robinhoods bay as the kids have never been there, then we will be driving home this afternoon.

I've had excitement so far this am ,2 bowlfulls washing up to do whilst DH does his long run, then dropped 3dd's off at church with Mil:) Just waiting for DH to return so I can do my run in the rain. I've got my lovely brother coming over today, so we will probably just play lots of games as its another horrid day. Smile
I think the boys want to make Lego spaceships all day, so I reckon it's my motherly duties to join. I've already got chicken in the oven for lunch, my oven is really rubbish, so I have to plan well if cooking lots of food in there.

we're on our way to see my Dad (2hr drive or longer due to crappy weather) and take him out for lucnh for his birthday. My brother and his partner will be joining us too, but only coz his cricket match has been called off :-/ . Didn't manage to get him anything interesting for a present, so will take him to the garden center and see if he'd like anything for his garden. Got him some wine and chocolate as a back up. That's our day taken care of as will not get home til about 9pm, than it will be wine time Smile

Have a lovely sunday everyone, especially the birthday girl xx

Have put the heating back on, I'm freezing. Surveyed the damage to the back fence from the comfort of the living room window lol, can see even more of my friends field now and the horses that will eventually be in it once the weather picks up again. Will have to phone housing association to report it tomorrow. Thing is, they seem to be only putting 6ft fences up for security reasons but I want to be able to see over it from my living room.

This afternoon me and Josh are going out to dinner. My friend (exbf) is cooking us and his sister and her family a Sunday roast. We went shopping for all the bits yesterday. So looking forward to it even if I am helping him to cook lol.
