Your days sound lovely, except the shoe shopping and non starting van!
The sculpture park sounds good, also glad to hear of people finding new jobs after being chucked out of jobs by hardship Beka hugs

Mine was simple but effective, I went to my friend's house where we hung out and my kids played with hers, we had a wander round the village. I've failed on my diet, boooo...but it was a lovely chilled out day.

I haven't organised anything for tomorrow. If it's dry we'll be on the garden, fresh air makes the little people sleep better lol.

I saw an ep of Homeland the other night, very engaging, hadn't seen the rest of the season but it had me.

Few random thoughts:

I'm wondering if the super moon tonight is bringing on more Braxton Hicks than usual or if I just need the loo rofl

I have the weirdest belly rumble going on with the left side of my belly. It's quietly growling each time I breath out Confused

I really want to see the Avengers movie. In the past week DH and I have seen Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. We have Captain America, Thor and Iron Man 2 on the list now, but I'm doubtful that we'll get to see the Avengers at the cinema if we want to see all these first Confused Running out of time!
Add to this that I really want to see MIB3 and American Pie ( Embarassed yep, cheap laughs), but we rarely have a babysitter - it's just not gonna happen!

I think DH didn't move Robin in to his own bed when he went up to sleep Confused Evil or Very Mad

I think audio books must be a good idea for people that knit lots.

Audio books are far too slow! I find myself wanting the book so I can slip ahead faster lol. Definitely interested in Homeland - looks like I've got some searching to do in the morning lol.

I had wondered if that would be a problem with audiobooks! But so many people rave about them that I thought maybe it's not the issue I think it is. I reckon I'd be too impatient too.

Elaine, I think with me it's because I read quite fast. I can get through all four twilight books in about 5 days lol. I still manage to take it all in, I lose myself in a book really. I have thought about trying an audio book but atm reading is a very good distraction when real life is shit and getting me down.

hugs Sorry things are crappy Jeni. I've always used books to escape in when things are down with me, since I was young. They got me through a lot of rough times. I'm not sure listening to a book could ever replace that, and I'm not sure my brain could imagine the story the same way.
I also read fast, but I also read slower sometimes! rofl If I really get in to a book I can wizz through it, but will often re-read straight after and absorb it better.

I think if I were to try an audiobook it'd be one that I've already read. As it is, I've been listening to stand-up comedy on Dave while I knit Very Happy

I totally agree, it's just not the same, you can't imagine yourself in the story by listening to it. Life's crap sometimes, not all the time. ATM I have Ben Fogle's autobiography on the go. It goes into lots of detail about the places he has visited so it's taking me a while to get through. I need a good story I think lol. Google is going to be busy tomorrow...
