Inspired by Islander in another post!

Who dares to reveal (and who can remember!) what song was playing when they had their first 'slow' dance? (And dads and uncles and big brothers don't count!)

Mine was (bemoaning the complete lack of originality here Embarassed) Three Times a Lady by The Commodores. Groan. Very Happy. Friday night RC Church youth club in Wandsworth...ah, Mario of the oversized quiff, where are you now...? roflConfused

luv R xxx

Edited 'cos it got a bit sad... Very Happy

I can't rememeber the song, it must have been wiped from my memory by the trauma of dancing with Anthony Cutts. He probably turned into a real heartthrob, but certainly wasn't when I was 13. It just didn't ever occur to me that you could say no if someone asked you to dance.

Mine was to "Hello" by Lionel Ritchie in 1984 - at the time it was no 1 in the charts and everyone was making sick noises about the video, with "blind" woman and the bust she made of LR. Ugh.....
