OMG I've just remembered I had a Wombles LP (calling it an album just doesn't seem right!)
And back on the subject of good sax, does anyone else remember "Will you" by Hazel O'Connor, surely the sexiest sax solo of all time.
Marie, I had my first ever slow dance to a David Soul single (can't remember which one though) with a boy scout called Gordon at a joint guide/scout disco aged 12.

Will You was fantastic, I'd forgotten that.
My first 7" was Leader of the Pack by the Shangri la's .

My first 7" was "I am the Beat" by The Beat and it had an everlasting ending because the last ring on the record joined up so it contintually sang "I am the Beat, I am the Beat, I am the Beat...." without ever coming to an end. I didn't have to buy many singles though because the lad next door got me loads from work - he filled juke boxes - they didn't have the middles in though so you had to stick this triangular insert in the hole to play them.
My very first LP was Go Moog because I wanted Lieutenant Pigeon's "Mouldy Old Dough" (about 37 years ago?).
My first LP that I bought myself was Blondie's Parallel Lines. |

I'm liking these record choices! Anyone still got any they want to pass my way??
My first were 'Suddenly' by Angry Anderson shortly followed by 'Especially for You' by Kylie and Jason
DH has over 1,000 7"..... and his very own juke box to play them too (bought by his wonderful wife for his 30th) _________________ H (Jun 2008) & Z (Dec 2010) & special baby G (Nov 2012) |

Cor that looks rather swish
I mostly played my vinyl on my Dad's Technics record player...but at some point Mum dug out her old player that she bought in the NAAFI (Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes) in Benghazi in 1964. We can't remember what make/model it was, but it looked something like this:
