My DD2 drools a lot. Orrigionally I thought this was down to teething but now i'm more airing on the side of it being a symptom of verbal dyspraxia which is what i think she has (she's currently undergoing lots of assessments)
I need a bib (well more than one.. but i mean a style of bib) that is big enough for a 2yo to wear but one that has a waterproof backing not just the flannellette stuff that appears everywhere.
I've thought about a wonderbib - the 'kerchief' style ones.. anyone know if these are any good??
Anyone else have any suggestions for me please... her skins getting sore under chin cause she drools so much and makes all her necklines on her clothes soggy wet. _________________

We use the coveralls for food now, but don't use any bibs at all for either child (although we have loads).
I found that bibs with the waterproof backing (DD used them when she was younger) used to make her more wet than the normal cotton bibs tbh.
You can get the flannellette (sp?) with plastic backing from cheaper shops eg. Ethel Austin, Matalan etc.
I know it's not the same thing, but Tommee Tippee do milk bibs which are designed to sit tight round the neck and have a thick collar thingymajig on them to stop the milk flowing into ones neck. _________________ Fiona |

Hello,
These are great! http://www.babykind.co.uk/bibs.htm#bandanabib They work really well.
I used to sell them in my little baby shop and they were my best seller.
I might have one or two left in my box of stock. I'll have a look.

thats what i was looking at in my local baby boutique but they cost £10 there which i think is a little steep for a bib.. _________________
