She makes the packed lunches everyday while i sort out other stuff in the mornings... this morning she made mine too - complete with a breakfast option which she handed to me seperately, with a spoon! Not bothered to look in thebag until just now as i thought it would have been filled with 'childrens food', but this is what i found:

Beef sandwiches, can of (diet) pop, lemon and lime cheesecake, ready salted crisps (only ones i like at the moment) and a wispa bar.

Seperated this morning was a muller corner for breakfast as she is adamant i NEED breakfast despite me never normally eating it Very Happy

She knows i cant stomach fruit at the moment so hasnt bothered with it despite her filling the others packed lunches with it!

That's fantastic!

I love my son completely, so I'm not being nasty when I offer this as an example but mine this morning just about managed a conversation with Dh when he was coming in from work. My brother has given him some designer plimsolls and a designer coat because they don't fit him any more...he was just telling Dh that they'd match the stuff that Dh gave him recently...and that's it, a convo about clothes! No practicalities, no niceties...

He didn't even shout up to the bathroom to let me know he was leaving for school. He made a sandwich but didn't take his drinks bottle or crisps or a yoghurt, and that was a successful morning... Wink

She turned 10 in Feb.

She will have emptied and cleaned them all out and done the dishwasher by the time i get in too.

The 8 year old DD will have fed the animals and done the daily washing by the time i walk in and ds and dd3 will have got uniforms and coats/shoes all put away for tomorrow too.

All i have to do is get up, go to work and come home to cook and wipe the kitchen down Very Happy

I am loving my food today! SO much appreciation for them right now.
