Oh Meg, I am so so jealous! I've always wanted to go to Iceland. Any room for me in a case?
Elaine, I'm up for any meet ups! Fingers crossed for some nice weather for more than a few hours! _________________ Vicky, mum to 5 lovely boys! |

Boom boom!
If your day in the park is on a Friday then it's likely that Holly and I could come? I am planning to book a few Fridays over the holidays to get childcare prices down.
We have end of term here, on the 20th. My next few weeks are mainly taken up with training (2 full days of Bid Writing this Thursday & Friday, then on Monday 9th I'm undertaking the PRINCE 2 project management training that I've been waiting 4 years for - its a whole week so will be pretty intensive ). The weekends are more exciting: friends over this Friday, Winchester the next day to see a different friend, back on the Sunday for Holly to go to a birthday party, the weekend after I know I'm doing *something* but I'm buggered if I can remember what right now . 21st sees Alan and I back in Winchester with the same friend from this weekend for her Bollywood/Hollywood party, then the weekend after I'm at my first ever stag night . In my group of friends at school it was me and 3 guys, the first of which is getting married August 5th. It follows, then, that I go to the stag do!
I think that's it... _________________

Ooohhh Iceland! Am very jealous - have an amazing time
1st July is my birthday, so the month started well I had a quiet but lovely day, DH took us out for lunch and the kids were mostly brilliant. The place we went to had a fab play area so we got some peace while they ran riot, they all ate well and apart from Freya getting tired and ratty at the end there were no major problems. She dozed in her buggy for an hour or so, woke up and then squeezed in another half hour of running around My parents came over late afternoon which was nice, it was a fairly relaxing, happy day. I'm starting to feel extremely old though!
William will be 6 on 11th and Max turns 10 on 23rd, so it's a real birthday month in this household! Max shares his birthday with FIL, something which has strangely always irritated me slightly as I wanted my boy to have his own day - it's nice that they share in some ways though. Am feeling exhausted already at the prospect of two birthday parties so close together, but it should be fun.
I can't believe that this month marks a decade of motherhood for me, it's incredible. I still remember joining UKparents just two or three weeks before Max was due, really nervous about labour and how I'd cope with a baby. I'd never have dreamed that ten years on I'd have five amazing kiddies and number six on the way.......!
Apart from birthdays, I'm helping out on William's school trip to a farm, and probably the pre-school outing too. Max and Ruby both have trips and discos, and I have parents meeting for Max. I'm taking Daniel to spend an afternoon in his new classroom this Thursday, how can my little boy be starting school in the autumn? The following week and then the last week of term he'll have afternoons there without me to get used to it all. I'm also attending an achievement assembly for Ruby as she's getting a certificate, really excited and so proud of her
Busy until 20th July when the big kids finish, then bring on the summer holidays.......scan at the end of the month to check position of my placenta as it was low like last time at the 20-week scan. Apart from all that, just keeping the kids entertained and having fun I hope

Busy, busy here. Work 'til the 20th but also taking DS1 to NASS this weekend, Sports Day next week and then over to see a client in the Isle of Wight. Weekend is a karate tournament for DS2 in Northampton, so taking DS1 and a couple of friends and dropping them off at Adrenaline Alley for a day of scootering while I watch DS2.
The week after DS1 turns 14 and we go to France for a week's holiday and then I'm taking the following week off work and we'll have some days out.
And that''s the end of July - phew ... _________________ Eileen, Mum to Dec (13), Dill (9) |

We broke off for school holidays on Thursday, so July is no-school for us!
Friday night we were at a wedding reception. It was my cousin, who sadly lost her dad suddenly and unexpectedly just under six months ago, so was a very difficult day. First time we have all been together since the funeral, but she coped remarkably well and my uncle would have been soooo proud of her. It was after midnight when we got home so the kids slept til 10am!!! Longest sleep ever I think
Yesterday we went to the local theatre, to see Chris and Pui from cBeebies, which the girls enjoyed loads, but sadly it highlighted to me just how different DD1 is from her peers, so I need to shake myself off and get the assessment process started and stop procrastinating.
Hoping to take DD1 to the circus this weekend. Have half-price tickets so need to go along when the box office opens and see how that works. She's been begging to go the past two years so she should be very happy
Hopefully later in the month it'll stop raining and we can do our usual holiday-beach days out with Kelly and the kids, if not we've got season passes for the science centre so might spend a fair amount of time there _________________ Daisy Starr - 05/04/2005

faerie - good luck with shoving the assessment along.
This month brings us a house move - as anyone on my f/b will know from my constant witterings.
It's a positive move, but along with moving house, it means we're moving in with o/h, which is a bit scary, and we need to *massively* redecorate the place.
In amongst that, i really want some nice weather to enjoy the summer with C before he starts school next month. _________________ Professionally-diagnosed aspie. As opposed to diagnosis-by-internet.
