your first date with your current dh?
We've been together since 1989, and on our first "date" (we'd been friends for a couple of years before then) I wore peach and white striped 3/4 length trousers with a "sack" style waist ( ) and white mocassain style shoes. On top I had a peach t-shirt and white braces

Ooh, what a question. First of all I would have to work out what counted as our first date.
I wonder what DP thinks it was?
I had two friends who discovered that he thought they had been dating for several weeks before she did. She thought they were just socialising! |

I can't remember exactly but it will have been something cleavage enhancing!
I think a cross over top, like a ballet cardi style? And a skirt of some sort. Dunno though. Wonder if he does?? |

Oh, I loved those cross-over tops.
I'm not sure what my first date with my dh was either.
If it was a daytime one then we were out on his motorbike, so I wore a pair of denim dungarees with leggings underneath, about 3 T-shirts, a large jumper, a scarf, two pairs of socks, big boots and a leather jacket.
If it was the first time we went out in the evening it was to a gig and I think it was probably an off the shoulder black t-shirt and a pirate skirt with day-glo patterns on (skulls possibly but I can't quite remember), probably either fishnets or stripy tights and boots.

Ok, if we count the weekend we first snogged (can't think of an elegant way of putting it atm sorry) then daytime I was wearing hiking gear - quick drying trousers and one of those wick-away tops for hill walking - as we went up Pen-y-Fan that Saturday. The result of that outfit was that I ended up with the most alarmingly stinky pits by the time we got back down off the hill, which funnily enough, I didn't find the slightest bit embarrassing, in fact both of us found highly amusing.
No idea what I was wearing in the evening. Probably jeans/trousers and a not particularly flattering bum length silk shirt.
It was this century though, so doesn't really count for the Nostralgia Board I suppose. |

Oh god.

Denim jodphur style jeans, an aztecy shirt and dodgy leather jacket and he STILL married me! This was 1990 though.

I can't remember. I do remember that it was at the Belvedere Karaoke night and we sung barbie girl....very badly. It was the 20th of May 1998. I had known him a few good months before though.

It was 4th July 2003 and I wore a black and white low cut polka dot top and black trousers. He later told me he spent the whole evening looking down my cleavage _________________ H (Jun 2008) & Z (Dec 2010) & special baby G (Nov 2012) |

Was it a smelly helly (Hella Hansen) top by any chance - the ones with the stripes on the arms. They are legendary for causing stinky pits hence the smelly helly moniker.

I think it was a suit - kind of brown and gold print - skirt and jacket type of thing, very smart and very 1980's. Oh and big hair.

It was 1994 and we were students and very good friends. We never had a "date" as such - I was having an essay crisis and he was helping me out by typing up the beginning of the essay while I was still writing the end and when we finally finished about 2am and were walking back to his house we decided we wanted to be more than just friends! I would guess I was wearing jeans, a shirt or t-shirt (nothing changes!) and my green DM boots. _________________ Sarah, SAHM to Ollie (01/2002), Dom (10/2004) and Antonia (11/2008)

Hmmm, well we met at the intrepid fox pub in SoHo so I used to wear lots of quite outrageous clothing, the night I kidnapped him I was probably wearing a corset thingy with either a black leather skirt or something rubber!
I don't know what I wore the next evening when I went around to his flat for "dinner", something black and tight I suppose! |
