Darien'al grew up in Keethnaii, learning how to hunt and duel at a young age. With these skills, Darien'al lived a relatively simplistic life with his family in the forest. A formidable hunter, he has become well adapted to silent movement and ranged attacks. Though he does not have the speed or silence of an assassin, he has the patience to wait for hours, if not days, to land a good kill. His clerical magic was honed from years of life and practice in the woods. Though he is by no means the most powerful of druids, he still has the capacity to conjure basic magic.
During a skirmish between the Dark Elves and the Naiianenea, he was captured and enslaved. After a long time in servitude, he escaped and fled to the more comfortable surface. There, he met Utan and Dari and joined the small dark elven community that lived on the surface. Uncomfortable with the lack of naturalism and the intense dark energy of the Ni’criianenea, he does not talk that often.
He takes to helping his friends in the community on the surface from a distance. It takes him a long time to make friends and as a result, he defends his friends fiercely. His preferred weapon is the bow, and he has taken a long time to perfect his skills. If forced, he will draw his short swords.
