Name: Irokaro Chimoto

Physical Description: Irokaro is of average height with a muscular frame. A martial artist, he is in rock solid shape. He has a shock of white hair and grey eyes looking out from an asian complexion.
Weapons: Three knives located on different parts of his body, as well as a longsword.
Gear: A backpack with a change of clothes, sleeping bag, and cold weather gear. Also has flint and tinder for starting fires and a whetstone for his knives and sword.
History: Irokaro doesn't remember a whole lot of his life before the fall, as with most people who were children at the time the shock of the event has erased most of what came before. He had an average childhood, and was a participant in various martial arts. After the fall he stayed with his extended family, which had gathered together in the hopes of survival. At this point he is left with his father, sister, and a few cousins.


Name: Hitori Chimoto
Age: 18
Sex: Female
Physical Description: A bit on the short side with a good figure and a tomboyish appearance. Like her brother she has white hair, hers of mid-back length. Her eyes, however, are what distinguish her; the right a clear blue, the left almost colorless.
Weapons: Like her brother she keeps three to four knives about her body, but fights mostly with her hands. She typically wears heavy gloves, steel reinforced, which although heavy, allow her to deal serious damage and can also redirect glancing hits from blades.
Gear: A backpack with her sleeping bag and "beauty products" as well as basic cooking gear and food. Her brother typically carries her extra clothes.
History: Hitori is Irokaro's younger sister and like Iro doesn't remember much before the fall. She is also well trained in martial arts and prefers to travel with her brother and is rarely seen without him.


Name: Evan Heath
Age: 31
Sex: Male
Physical Description: Evan is tall and powerfully built. A welder before the fall, he is now one of the more experienced metal workers in the city. He has a mess of brown hair and green eyes.
Weapons: Longsword and metal shield.
Gear: Backpack with bedroll and a few light repair tools as well as cold weather gear. Leaves most of his metalworking tools at his shop.
History: Evan never made it to college, instead taking a job in a metalshop as a welder at the age of eighteen. After the fall he was one of the first weaponsmiths in the Chicago and now is well known throughout the districts and has a large clientele.

A longtime friend to Iro and Tori's father he now keeps shop near their home both to protect them and to give himself better security. He is not often a target for syndicate attacks since he is often a supplier to both sides!

Name: Yumi Inoue

Sex: female

Physical Description: 5'4", 117lb; long, black hair usually pulled back in a ponytail or bun; black eyes; pale, olive complextion; concidered really cute, but she doesn't think she is that pretty

Weapons: As of yet, none

Gear: her mother's spinning wheel and loom (obviously stationary), three large sewing kits full of sewing supplies and materials, some vegetable seeds, her diary, some pictures of her mother and father, her textbooks and personal books

History: Yumi was ten when the world changed. She lost her father, but her mother and her managed to scrape a living with her mother's clothes making skills that she learned when she lived in Japan under the carefull eye of her father, a traditional kimono maker. Yumi's mother passed on the skills to her and continued Yumi's education. By the time she was eighteen, she was bilingual and bi-literate in Japanese and English, eventhough she only spoke and wrote Japanese with her mother. A month ago, Yumi's mother was caught in the crossfire of a gang fight and died. With no abliity to protect herself, Yumi quickly began to locate one of her mother's aquantances before 2012. She remembered a few years ago that her mother said he had a safe place for them, if they needed it. She barely remembered the man and his two children, Irokaro and Hitori, but it was better than being alone.

Name: "Mick"
Age: 30-something
Birthday: Good question! Mid 90s probably
Sex: Male

Physical Description: About 5'10", 200lb it looks like. Messy short hair and facial hair. Very unkept in appearance.

Weapons: Machette, knife, slingshot, a few things to make a crossbow with (if he can find someone to help him)

History: Very little is known about "Mick" save for that there are three things that are undisputed about him. 1) He's a loon. Completly crazy, but knows how to work and live. 2) He's a wanderer. He's been all over the US ruins, mostly walking. 3) He reeks to high heaven! Though it's probably a byproduct of numbers 1 and 2...

Age: 40 ish
Birthday: won't tell
Sex: Female

Physical Description: Chey is about 5'6" and about 140 lbs. She has graying hair and dark brown eyes. She spends a lot of time out of doors gathering plants and always carries several small sachels to put odds and ends.


Weapons: Carries knives, a staff and a few metal implements that she uses both for defense and to dig out roots and oddities.


History: Chey is a very quiet woman. Before the fall she was a naturalist, but afterwards she moved into the cities for protection. She once had a family, but she rarely speaks of them. She has a shop where she makes medicines. She is protected by the 2 facts: 1) she can cure several illnesses 2) she can also cause a great deal of discomfort and death if she so chooses.
