Just be open to what he has to say, watch as many lessons before will help. Be prepared to feel out of your depth! He usually will watch you prepare, do what ever ground work you do and then will take the horse and work them in hand showing you what he would like for you then to be able to do (which is maybe a 1/10 of what he can do!). The only way to be able to progress with Mark is to be able to continue working with him. It takes time. But you will also hear things that sound like what you have heard before as well, but maybe from a different slant. He has so many arrows in his quiver when it comes to working with a horse and what he sees is just amazing.

Have fun and I hope there are some good lessons to watch as well, ones you can take something from. He will be here April, June (we are actually doing a symposium with Mark, a DVM/chiro and having a skeleton "skeletor" for anatomy/biomechanics of horse!!) and Oct.

I did wonder how much i can get from one lesson- at first I only saw where he is here once in Sept, but I saw he is here once in summer too, but that one is more expensive. I'll have to see how it all goes!
