While looking at UDBB thread on the "observation Deck" I see Danee mentioned as a clinician at some Horse Expo, and they LIKED her! As some of you know, they shoot straight over there and hand out insults as fast as pats on the back. They also seem to know right from wrong. Someone mentioned how they hated a abusive clinician and how people even got up and left. Then the next clinician was Danne Rudy and she was so good and how they felt sorry she had to follow him...

Congrats Danee, sorry I don't have time to scan the exact thread for you right now.... It was yesterday postings or so...

Awesome! Thanks so much Cyndy!!

Scott Purdum apparently worked a demo horse that would not even glance at him and he had to really really push to get any attention from her at all- I could not see it from "backstage" but i know the mare was profusely sweating afterwards.

For this reason I would never do a "fix this problem" demo at an expo. I had a hard enough time getting Rave to keep his cool in that environment! I would hate to put a horse through that who already has issues.

During my demo I was taking so many unrelated questions that I felt all over the place. Rave was nervous (FOUR electric comuter trains passed us outside before I was even allowed in the building!!!) I didn't think it was anywhere near my best, so I am very happy to hear I had some positive feedback.

While Scott probably could have made some better choices i hope he doesn't catch too much internet flack- being a clinician is NOT easy. He looks VERY young (younger then I am anyways). But i will say- he had more then twice as many peope in the audience as i did. But I am not complaining- my audience was well informed, engaged, and asked great questions. I think I enjoyed them more then they did me!!
