Okay, so I'm a bit out of date (I used to compete and ride actively, I promise) but I was curious what your opinions would be on a horse with an upper suspensory injury in his right hind. Is it worth it to rehab the horse and hope I'll get a sound dressage horse out of it, or cut my losses and sell him to someone that wants a trail sound horse. With all of this said, the vet says that he will make a full recovery.

a suspenroy injury can be anything from an annoyance to fatal, depending on severity. If you have a good vet that you trust I would take his/her opinion over a bunch of people that can'tsee it and don't know your horse.
I might not buy the horse, not knowing, but I certainly would not give up on a horse that I owned because of it.
Of course..., maybe there are other reasons you thought of selling and this is the tipping point??? Is he suited for your personality and goals? Has he had a history of injuries that have you at wit's end???
