Check out the screenies i took after installing the Natural Mod, my recommended settings are medium but with natural mod, it customises your video settings so you get the sunbeams etc with less effort from your machine
http://gallery.me.com/savage_mf/100010
Note: these are all compressed jpegs so the overall quality is alot better, but in the last few pics you will notice how prominent the sunbeams and moonbeams are.
Been meaning to take screenshots without the natural mod launched...watch this space... |

I turn EVERYTHING off when I game. So I dont think that is it.
I am able to connect to a server and stay on there for a bit....a real laggy type bit. I get a strange little cross thing that appears in the middle of the screen and then I am unable to move or do anything. It happens for about ten seconds or so, then goes away. But then it comes back. Happens three or four times, then the whole thing locks up.
I havent been able to stay alive long enough to even see another player without getting killed! |

Very disappointed! Finished the single player in a total of 10 hours all together. Never had a game that looked so good and finished so quickly. Even wolf took me longer than that...a lot longer! Puter had a very hard time keeping up near the end though!!
And mp keeps locking up on me. Tried everything I know to try and fix it but still locking up. Maybe reinstall it next? Dont know. You would think if sp worked well, mp would too. |

Now my disc isn't in it's box! I think my lady keeps hiding them, kinda flattering/disturbing LOL
little does she know that both games missing only require the cd key which I have on the manual
(might just be in the aforementioned mess in my game room, she tends to use it as a storage room grrrrr!) |

I often used cloak - I loved to move in unseen and finish them one by one or just find a good sniper spot to have some fun
And this game really is more a strategy than a shooter - I believe you can finish the game without a single kill if you want.
I'm waiting for some $ to get myself another 8800 card - then with all set to max I will camp in my World Control Center playing Crysis forever! |

Works great on me puter! And I did the performance check and it automatically set the graphics to low, which kinda confuses me cause I have a good graphics card. But it's one step lower then the recommended, 6600 rather than the 6800 or 8800, I cant remember which.
All I have to say is...WOW!!
The wife will be getting mad at me once again lol.
Good advice playing single player first. Cloaking is my new friend Nothing like sneaking up on them, and sucker punching them to death lmao!!
I like that there isnt a huge amount of keystrokes. Most can be done with my three buttons. I'm only an hour into it, and love it so far
I just finished a job today, and the home owner is a computer geek. It was something else seeing his game room. And man did I learn a bunch about the xbox 360. Quite the machine...I may have to get one! |

I never thought of blocking doors with objects, good thinking!!! Though being able to pick everything up is most fun when you grab a korean by the throat, turn on strength and throw him off a cliff hehehe

Yeah, i agree completely, the jungle battling is my favourite too, made the game for me

We should all meet up for a couple of online games!!! Wish the multiplayer was better.
Rams, honestly don't mean this as a spoiler but be aware that unlike wolf SP, the AI don't just walk straight at you one after the other so you can pick them off and reload.
NOTE: Playing it on hard or expert i think, means you can't use vehicle weapons while driving, you have to change to gunners seat.
Also means you have no crosshair so you have to use which ever sight you have chosen for your weapon. |

Yea that was a good level to. I also got killed a few times but this way work good for me.
I made my way to 1 of those houses and cleared it out killed everybody inside and on rooftop. Beeing able in Crysis to take object i stayed on the rooftop and baricadet the dooropening whit cases and then shoot as many as possible from the rooftop so that the enemy troops got weakend v57 so i was able to hunt down easyer the remain koreans stil shooting me from there cover.
I realy dint like the inside the spaceship levels al this floating and transparent alliens flying around and everthing looking the same. I like more sneaking tru the wood playing in the mud guerilla style
Think im gonna play this game again somtime soon |

I found the camp with the petrol station in it which was on the coast surrounded by land mines the hardest to get into. You had to rescue someone...
Tried a few methods, first, sneaking in, too many people saw me and i ended up riddled.
Second, tried sniping as many as possible from the opposite hill, some north koreans then came down behind me and surrounded me :S
Third, i drive straight in and jumped out of jeep as it headed for explosive tanks at petrol garage, then strength jump onto a rooftop Still died... think a combination of all these did it for me. lol |

Do you rember the map where you have to make it into the cave where the (undiscoverd til then) space ship is.
The entrance was so heavily guardet. Al the koreans in the trenches and koreans on the mg's and the guards who have a suit to whit the heavy gunzz
I had to do that 1 a few time's over. I always try to sneak in the trenches whit my cloak activated but when youre battery runs out and they spot you then the bullets start flying youre way ALOT You can try to shoot them al but chance's are you run faster out of bullets then koreans hitting the floor. Eventualy.....i was able to sneak in whit a few minor encouters that i was able to discretely end (kill kill)
Just 1 of my most memobarel '' tactical dilemma's'' of this good game |
