The above programme should be watched by all. This is what the BBC calls "history" and is the school curriculum. Notice the title of the programme bears no relation to the middle east conflict, and is as misleading as the whole programme itself was.

Obviously it's a totally one sided story. From the birth of Israel, to the present day, Israel is demonised and the Jews are portrayed as land grabbers.

The comentary states that Israel wanted ALL of Palestine (not mentioning that Jordan is 80% of British mandated Palestine). Then there's the poor Arabs defeated by the Jewish army, even though they were greatly outnumbered. There's the slaughter at Sabra and Shatilla with no mention of Damour, and also no mention of Black September. Arafat and the PLO are portrayed as liberators, even though the PLO was started long before 1967.

And so it went on... a long programme, with some historical accuracies, but the omissions were glaring and absolutely disgusting. This is one way to teach British children to hate Israel as well as Jews for their ill treatment of the downtrodden "Palestinians".

Interviewed are Noam Chomsky, Robert Fisk, Avi Schlaim, and others....

Will someone, .... please complain about this programme.
