Israel rebuffs Obama demand to surrender before negotiations
IsraelToday
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a demand by US President Barack Obama that he commit to a major expulsion of Jews from their homes in Judea and Samaria prior to a renewal of peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
According to Israeli media reports on Wednesday, Obama wanted to organize a major peace summit one month from now based on such an Israeli commitment. Even before the sides had a chance to sit down at the negotiating table, Israel was to surrender to all Arab demands to allow the creation of a Palestinian Arab state on every inch of land they claim.
A report in an Arabic-language newspaper indicated that the Palestinian Authority had informed Obama the peace process would not move forward until Israel was strong-armed into accepting those conditions.
At the same time, visiting US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice told Netanyahu that the White House expects more than just "lip service" from Israel regarding restarting the peace process.
Netanyahu has repeatedly stated his willingness to immediately restart talks with the Palestinians. He has issued only one precondition of his own, that the Palestinians finally honor their previous peace commitment to recognize Israel as the national home of the Jews. _________________ JUDEA & SAMARIA are clear and unquestionably JEWISH!

Judea and Samaria are part of Biblical Israel
Dear Mr. President B. Hussein Obama
Arab propaganda commonly refers to the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) area under Israeli administration as ''Israel-Occupied territory," to be "returned" to its "legitimate owner,"
The very terminology of such a claim is wrong and misleading, both legally and historically. Prior to its conquest by the Arab Legion in 1948, and its annexation by Abdullah''s Transjordan, This area was part of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, (older than the United States of today from 1517 to 1917.) In December 1917, General Allenby entered Jerusalem as the commander of the British forces, which had liberated the Holy Land.
Neither during the 400 years (1517 – 1917) of the “Ottoman Empire period” nor before had there ever existed an Arab state of Palestine, and the word Palestine is not of Arab origin.
Judea and Samaria now administered by Israel was never part of an Arab state. In Biblical times, it was known as Judea and Samaria, respectively the southerly and northerly kingdoms into which Solomon's realm was divided in 933 BCE. In the post-Biblical era, Judea and Samaria shared the vicissitudes of Jewish Palestine. After World War I, they were part and parcel of Palestine under the British Mandate. The United Nations partitions plan of November 29, 1947, assigned them to the would-be independent Arab State, slated to be created simultaneously with the would-be Jewish State… It was in the defiance and violation of the UN decision that “Transjordan” (the Artificial State created by the British on 77% of Mandatory Palestinian Territory) Arab Legion overran 2165 square miles of Palestine. Abdullah (the assigned Emir by the British) kept them under occupation for over a year, and then, on April 24, 1950, unilaterally annexed them to the so-called Transjordan domain.
Israel or other Arab States never recognized this annexation… Only two States members of the United Nations gave it recognition (Pakistan and the UK).
The annexed area was thus but de facto a part of the Hashemite Kingdom. Jordan eventually forfeited it claim to that area and signed a Peace Treaty with Israel.
The Jewish title to Judea and Samaria is NOW at least as valid as the one advanced by the Arabs of Palestine…
It is then, most a-propos to tell about a similar event in history… and, how most opportunely to reference it every year on ‘Chanukah day’… A historically meaningful precedent can be found in the First Book of Maccabees (Chapter 15, verses 30-34) relating an exchange of messages between Antiochus VII, King of the Hellenic Dynasty in Syria, and Simon, who 143 BCE became high priest and, later, Etnarch of Judea, quote:-
Antiochus sent Athenobius, one of his friends, to Simon with a message:
"You have taken possession of many places in my Kingdom. Now, then, hand over these cities, which you have
taken, and the tribute of the places outside the borders of Jordan which you have appropriated... Unless you do
this, we will come and make war on you.' Simon's reply was: quote,
"We have neither taken any other man's land, nor do we hold dominion over other people's territory, but only over the inheritance of our fathers. On the contrary, for a certain time it was unjustly held by our enemies; but we, seizing the opportunity, hold fast the inheritance of our fathers." Unquote.
There is in Israel a strong trend to incorporate Judea and Samaria, “the inheritance of our fathers”! This trend is, of course, but one aspect of a more general movement for an "Israel," which would encompass all the territories won during the Six-Day War. But even, those who do not subscribe to such an integral aim single out the liberated Judea and Samaria as an area of foremost importance. I do. _________________ JUDEA & SAMARIA are clear and unquestionably JEWISH!
