I was kinda a vague on that. If you look up and then down the area or angle I see is probably 45 degrees, arthurs seems to be about 15. He also seems to be REAL steady and I'm not. I hope that makes sense.

Hey Sav, sorry I missed getting on Saturday. Finally slept in until 8:30am cheers, eh!

if u have a good mouse (e.g. gaming mouse) you can change your mouse sensivity on the Y axis (up and down) - don't know if he uses it, but I once used it with my razer mouse software - there's an option for setting different mouse sensivity on horizontal and vertical axis

I think thats what it is. I think you can change that in cfg, if I'm not mistaken. Wife will kill me if I buy a new mouse though Neutral

OK kids, hers what I found out and if this is old news I apologize. If you go into your cfg and change your seta m_pitch from .011 (default) to .003 (or what ever you feel comfortable with) the speed at which you look up and down is greatly diminsihed, but the speed at which you look side to side remains normal. Now, I don't know if this tweak is out of bounds on some servers and will get you kicked, but I don't see why it would. IMHO this should make consistent headshots easier.

I think you can only use that tweak on WoC. Tried it on ours and Cvar was out of bounds.

id watch it if i were u joe....

m_pitch is a hackable config setting...let me explain

some servers limit m_pitch because if u set it to 0 your mouse will be locked at head height

infact most servers limit it to 0.016

so if u set yours to 0.03 youll be gettin banned from alot of servers....just a heads up mate

I got kicked from our server with thats setting. Even though it is OK to play on WoC with that setting, I'm going to switch it back. I don't want anyone to accuse me of cheating, although there are peeps on that server that have the same setting.

yea youll get away with it on KT and WOC cos they have no cvar limits.

changing it isnt so much hacking/cheating, but if its set lower than 0.016 its deemed an unfair advantage in warleagues and any servers that follow there cvar limitations.

it changes on all servers mate...for example ive been playin allstars alot recently and on that server i have it set at the lowest limit 0.014 (which is very low)

for other servers i simply change it back once ive joined.

to be honest i think RtCW would only be fair if it had 1 standard config file which every1 uses...because u can change your cvars to match the servers, some people dont know about this...is that deemed as you using an unfair advantage?...i think so...but because people know about changing cvars and everyone has different settings it allways is gona leave gaps for exploits.

id be happy using a standard file...reason i change it is to lower the advantage stakes against really good players.
