Man... it's like my cpu is one big bug.
Now my rtcw kicks me of a server cause PB isnt installed proper. so I go to evenbalance.com and get the last scrips for fixing the problem, but then I cannot Enable PB... man man man

now my pb says. after installing rtcw again, PBAG cannot be removed after unloading. any idea?

u have vista or xp Fishy ?
XP:
if u have xp go to conrtol panel->administrative tools->services and check if u have PnkBstrA.exe on that list - if so make sure it's running and set to automatic. If u don't have it manually add it (it's in rtcw/pb i think but i'm not sure).

fixed the prob. downloaded a PB auto updater manually and editted the scirpt manually so it would update ingame.
