Are you sure the game supports SLI, it should but it may not support one of your cards. Have you tried running the game using both cards separately? _________________ Each and every one of us continues to live either by the merciful sufferance of a God or at the whim of blind chance and indifferent nature. <Dean Koontz> |

Yes if i just use 1 i can stil play it very good also. But i bought this shiznit to play whit full potential (2 cards sli).
Its realy not the game far cry 2 cause after i installed this new update for my Geforce 8600GT sli its whit al my games (flickering) when i enable SLI.
I can stil downgrade and play in SLI whit ETQW Wolfenstein age of empires.... but than i have to play a shitty looking far cry2. _________________ Anybody who would lose a little liberty to gain a little security will lose both and deserve neither |

Try your resolution BELOW 1280x960. _________________ Each and every one of us continues to live either by the merciful sufferance of a God or at the whim of blind chance and indifferent nature. <Dean Koontz> |

try reinstalling the drivers like this:
1. Download latest drivers from nvidia site, unpack it to any folder
2. Uninstall any previous drivers and reset the machine
3. Install new drivers on system startup
It helped me when I had problems, but only with 1 card.
If that doesn't help try looking somewhere in the nvidia panel under sli - maybe there are some 'tweaks' selected which cause you trouble |

Hey thx Savage and Exxon but youre ways dont help. I already took some time to digg deeper in it reading from the internet forums and stuff.
I readet that you can remove the (some kind of) bridge between the Graphics cards and that wil fix it. But that isnt realy the best way cause now youre already breaking youre computer open and breaking pieces of it that suppose to be there.
I read also that the flickering screen happens because of this. (let me get as technical as possible now).
There's a digit that represent the memory of the VGA card or somthing else and that is 4098 somthing. But if you have 2 in sli VGA card those numbers should be equal 4098 & 4098 and if thats not the case 4098 & 4050 meaning that 1 VGA 4098 wil overlap the 4050 VGA card & that wil cause the conflict.
Anyway its stil not fix only if i use my old drivers but then i cant play Far Cry 2 and i cant always switch between old version and new version.
Actualy for that kind of money you should expect 2 working cards whit stable software fcking gayforce s _________________ Anybody who would lose a little liberty to gain a little security will lose both and deserve neither |
