Hey guys!
I have a little problem with RTCW. My ping on the KT server has changed from 98-100 to 210-220 (and its not just on the kt server...)
The pc has been completely reinstalled, so theres no crap on it...
Anyone have an idea what might have caused this? |

Hey Chupa, could be a number of factors...
1st check to see if restarting your router corrects the problem for even the shortest while. Could be that your router is playing up, could be what was happening to me...caught a neighbour leeching my wireless, after restarting router my ping would return to normal, until his auto resume downloads started again.
Next step is to remove or switch out the router from the network to test. Do a switchout with microfilters at each phone socket if ADSL.
After being sure nothing your end is faulty I'd contact my provider and ask them to explain why your latency has increased.
Let me know how you get on. _________________ Each and every one of us continues to live either by the merciful sufferance of a God or at the whim of blind chance and indifferent nature. <Dean Koontz> |
