| I have a 1970 1/2 camaro and live in Elk Grove. I have a car issue. On hot days my engine cuts off (above 95 degrees). Once It cools its fine. If I try to start it to soon it may start and if it does when I shift into gear it cuts of again. My temp gauge doesnt show anything ab normal, but I have headers so it get hot in the engine bay. any suggestions I'd like to drive down the delta this weekend...help |

| Sounds like a carb issue but don't know for sure... The car is not overheating? |

I thought this was going to be about some Hot July Nights event!
But you really need to put some more 411 in your question. You stated headers so I'm guessing its not all stock. How much of it is and how much is not?
Cuts off complete or stumbles then dies. Just complete dead I would look over the ignition. Would not happen to have a Mallory Uni-lite. If so get rid of that junk and get a MSD.
With the headers, is it too close to a fuel line causing it to boil???
But with a lack of info on your part and I could guess all night long. |
