I had Allan booked for a charity gig in Coatbridge last Saturday, It was a long room filled with 220 people most of whom knew each other Allan came along and smashed it .
Allan was on third and Followed Jamie Dalgleish at a point in the evening when much drink had been consumed, he grabbed the audience by the scruf of the neck , commanded the room and both he and the audience had a ball.
He was completly relaxed , dealt with a few heckles at the beginning and then gave them his material which was solid punchlines and amusing stories mixed with some audience interaction the laughter kept on rolling.
His cheek and charm set up the second half of the evening and was a joy to watch.
After his 20 mins Allan left the stage to the biggest applause of the evening. |

| Done a gig with him for the Laughing Horse New Act, and he was outstanding. Controlled the room like a pro, and his punchlines were side-splitting. Extremely funny and a really nice guy. |

| Watched Allan absolutely smash it last night at the laughing horse gig, his cheek and charm set him up well as he controlled the room like a pro, leaving the audience in stitches and the other competitors in his wake. |
