DO 5 MILLION SO CALLED PALESTINIAN ARABS HAVE THE 'RIGHT OF RETURN'?

A top-secret US plan has been devised, according to the Saudi owned Asharq al-Awsat based in London. This plan intends to place 5 million Palestinian refugees in various Arab countries, with 75,000 to be absorbed by Israel. It seems to me as if there is a more devious and purposefully misleading plan hidden within the published plan.
(1) It appears that this planned leak is to start Israel on the road to negotiations, which, as in Oslo, are intended to hook Israel into advancing a process intended to disassemble the Jewish nation.

According to official records of the League of Nations and Arab census figure 539,000 Arabs left (2) Israel at the urging of 7 converging Arab armies so that they would not be in the way of their attack. They promised the fleeing Arabs they would return and move into the Jews' houses after the anticipated successful annihilation of the Jews.

We know that 850,000 Jews were ejected from the Arab countries where they had lived for hundreds of years. This included successful people whose property and assets, including community assets were immediately confiscated. 750,000 penniless Jews from Arab countries fled to Israel. (3)

This was a virtual exchange of population. The new State of Israel immediately accepted the Jewish refugees. They were provided with shelter (albeit temporary tents) food and clothing.

The Arab refugees who had migrated to various Arab nations were not similarly well received. They were regarded not as Arab brothers but as unwelcome migrants who were not to be trusted. Squalid refugee camps were set up as showpieces to induce the West's sympathy and kept that way. The UN through
UNRWA (UN Relief Agency) provided assistance to the camps when the host country could not or would not. These camps became a training ground for terrorist youth to be targeted at Israel. The host country, like Syria, would provide training, weapons and explosives, but refused to absorb the Arab refugees as equal citizens. Keeping them in misery made them valuable and irreplaceable as angry front line terrorists attacking Israel as proxies for the Arab armies who lost to the Jews on the field of battle in declared wars.
The Twin Pillars supporting Arab Muslim society are "Pride and Shame". Losing to the Jews on the battlefield time and again in 6 wars shattered the self-perception of the Macho Man.

Time passed; more wars against Israel were undertaken and lost - creating more refugees. The birthrate in the refugee camps soared. The more children, the more UNRWA rations books. The dead never seemed to die as their name and ration books passed down through the family, friends or organization. The children
kept in misery by their own people were always taught that Israel was the sole source of their pain.

No matter how long the Arabs from Palestine lived on the territory of these nations who themselves needed an increased population and workforce, they adamantly refused to absorb these people. Instead they were kept like a bear in a cage, prodded into useful rage.

In Israel, the first group of Jewish refugees from Arab nations had long since been absorbed and had become valuable additions to the State of Israel and her workforce. They lived as all their other neighbors did with little problems of assimilation.

In Arab countries, despite oft-proclaimed concern for the 'suffering' of their brother Arabs, they did virtually nothing for them. Strangely, the Arabs who remained in Israel fared far better than those in other Arab countries.

Now, a supposedly new plan is floated by American Arabists wherein the following nations have been assigned a certain number of supposed refugees with a total number of 5 million.

These are the statistics listed in the Saudi-owned London-based daily Asharq al-Awasat:. The top-secret US plan puts the number of Palestinian refugees as 5,000,357 and notes that their resettlement will "close the file" on the subject. (It takes a great deal of creative accounting to change the number of 550,000 refugees into 5 million - the totals are inaccurate.)

The 75,000 slated for Israel to absorb have to prove their attachment to Mandatory Palestine. The US plan also envisions the population of the West Bank doubling from the current 1.2 million to 2.4 million...by resettling Palestinian refugees from other states in the region (those listed above), as well as transferring some from the Gaza Strip to reduce its population density.

Does the US game plan contemplate the impact that this burgeoning mass of poor, discontented mass will have on the State of Israel or the state of Peace?

The reader may be curious as to why now, having refused to grant their fellow Arabs citizenship for over 50 years, would these nations now accept for permanent relocation and citizenship those already there and even more.

As a relevant aside, in 1979 & 1980 I published articles, which spoke about the miserable conditions of the refugee camps in Arab countries showcased for Western display. The Arab countries refusal to accept these Arabs from Palestine they called brothers clearly stated they disliked and feared them.
Their fear was justified, given the long record of blackmailing Arab leaders with assassination if they do not fund the PLO.

My stated conclusion was that, should Israel ever be forced to withdraw from the West Bank, these nations would dump their Palestinian refugee population into the West Bank/Gaza Strip in a heartbeat. Transferring a hostile population into the underbelly of Israel would merely be an extension of an unending war directed toward the elimination of the Jewish State.

On the other side of the equation were the PLO and Arafat who would welcome a swelling of Palestinian population - no matter how miserable the conditions would be for such a massive influx of people. Keeping them in poverty in a neo-State of Palestine would generate the same hostility and terrorism as had the refugee camps from where they were to be ejected. This is already happening in Gaza where Arafat and his Palestinian Authority have embezzled the donor monies slated for the Palestinians. Poverty is rampant while Palestinian leaders live in luxury paid for by US taxpayers' dollars. Regrettably, these facts do not fit into the Clinton plan and are therefore denied.

But, if Arafat was to build an army, he needed a great increase in population kept in a state of permanent frustration and anger. They would not be absorbed and pacified for a normal life but instead kept in a pressure cooker when needed. The PLO did not need or want a peaceful citizenry working, taking care of families and generally living a normal life. Rage, crowding, hatred was what causes a population to be directed toward the supposed source of their pain. Arafat desperately needed an enclave where the Arab nations could say that now they no longer needed to host a people they did not want.

My prognosis of 1979 has regrettably come into play. Now there is to be a well thought out, clever trick to be played and here we find the fingerprints of the American administration and dedicated Arabists in the State Department.

The story being reported is that the Arab countries listed earlier will absorb 5 million Palestinian refugees. The total listed is already in place, numbering approximately? Millions. (Who really knows? The numbers of refugees have been manipulated and distorted for years.) The additional figures are to be added to those already there. The questions arise:

Where might these so-called extra refugees be now?

Will they really want to return?

Will they obey the order to uproot themselves just because the US has planned it for them?

Why will these nations so adamantly opposed to assisting their brothers through absorption accept them now?

Will Kuwait, who was betrayed to Saddam by Arafat and the 350,000 Palestinians living there, absorb any Palestinians? Kuwait ejected over 300,000 to Jordan after the Gulf War.

Will Saudi Arabia who also evicted 350,000 Palestinians into Jordan, accept what they considered a potentially dangerous fifth column loyal to Arafat?

Will Lebanon, even under Syrian control, accept any Palestinians after the PLO under Arafat caused their 12 year long Civil War which killed over 100,000 Lebanese civilians?

King Hussein of Jordan ejected Arafat's Palestinians in September 1970, called Black September because they were trying to take over his kingdom. King Hussein drove them into Lebanon after killing more than 10,000. The Lebanese welcomed the fleeing Palestinians into their bosom, but suddenly found themselves under attack by Arafat's Palestinians who set up a mini Terror State within Lebanon. For the next 12 years terror raged and over their Palestinian brothers murdered 100,000 Lebanese.

Syria's Hafez al Assad has always hated Arafat and his PLO. That did not stop him from hosting 12 linked terrorist groups on Syrian territory, providing arms and intelligence to assist in terrorist operations now including an invitation by Assad to Osama Bin Ladin's terror group.

Will Assad now agree to absorb Palestinians who have no reason to love Syria and would become an enemy of the State living in its heart?

I think the American Plan, in cooperation with Arafat and dedicated Leftists in Israel, is to create the illusion of some sort of 'fair' distribution of Palestinian refugees. Israel will be once again will be offered a Trojan Horse agreement, 'an offer they can't refuse' because the threats to accept that come with the proposed agreements will be tremendous. This will be similar to Oslo, Hebron and Wye. As before, it will theoretically promise much (under Clinton's signature) but deliver little in the way of peace and security.
Agreements designed to ignore and bypass the terms and conditions seem a specialty of Slick Willie.

Israel will lose territorial segments of her sovereignty again and again. Israel will be expected to agree and withdraw from more and more territory under the illusion that this times Arafat will really keep his agreement. The story being floated is that there are already 1.2 million Palestinians in the relinquished territories of the West Bank. After Israel agrees to take 75,000 Palestinian refugees into Israel, Arafat would then allow the population in the West Bank to double from 1.2 to 2.4 million in the territory he would then control. Doubling the population is a conservative estimate.

I believe that the population will triple, quadruple and more because most of the Palestinians now in other Arab countries would be forced to emigrate. Since no other nation will have them, except Arafat's nascent State of Palestine that is where they will go.

Israel would protest as it has on all of the broken Accords. As before, no one would be listening or care. The American Arabists joined by the EU and UN would politely turn away or deny that they had been co-planners in working this sting. The artificial number of 75,000 that Israel was to absorb within the greater Plan would assist in their undoing. The 75,000 would be accompanied by another 75,000 illegals who have been incoming already among the indigenous Israeli-Arab population. Many PLO army officers from outside have married Israeli Arab women in order to live inside the Green Line awaiting the time to rise up and join a coalition of Arab confrontation armies..

Now the Israeli Arabs have 18-20 seats in the Knesset. At some point soon they will be a sufficiently large enough voting block to be the third largest Party in Israel, finally voting to destroy the Jewish State by using her "democratic" values against her. With 5 million hostile positioned in the overcrowded West Bank, screaming for more territory and a hostile Palestinian/Israeli Arab population inside the bowels of the nation, it would be just a matter of time before Israel collapsed on itself.

Regrettably, Israelis deal with immediate problems with a certain arrogance and conviction believing they cannot be tricked. Unfortunately, in retrospect, they are often wrong and very easily tricked. They have the dangerous habit of focusing on the 'concept' and ignoring any intelligence that disproves it.
By the time awareness seeps through, they have lost the battle and flounder around, trying to recover their dignity for having been tricked so easily. The Olso I & II, Hebron, Wye Agreements have been broken numerous times in their entirety. Instead of drawing the real red line, each PM says something like:
"If you do it again, I will not play - unless you say please."

The coming transfer of the so-called Palestinian refugee population from Arab nations, if agreed to by Israel, will follow all other deviously broken agreements.

In brief, Israel is once again to be offered a deal based on reciprocation when, in fact, there is no intention from the outset to keep what will be another new (worthless) agreement. The Israelis will withdraw from more territories, allowing what Arafat already has to link up. Israel will be pressured to absorb its agreed number of 75,000 while the inflow to the West Bank will be increased and never stopped. It will be a fait accompli, with the Israelis shocked and protesting - but with no one listening.

Strangely, the Palestinians living outside of Arafat's domain will be unlikely to want to return. The word has gone out that the PLO rule is brutal, with Arafat taking most of the donor money from many nations for himself and his cronies. Knowledgeable Palestinians living outside the West Bank are unlikely to return willingly to typical Arafat rule of frequent beatings, extortion, murder. Every Palestinian businessman suddenly had a PLO partner, reminiscent of Al Capone's protection rackets. Somehow when Palestinians were arrested and questioned by Arafat's police, they were either returned crippled or not at all. Regrettably, our President, in lockstep with a hostile State Department, has decided on a process to disassemble the Jewish State in favor of the Arab nations.

In spite of pledges by all Presidents and backed by Congress to stand with the Jewish State of Israel, this President has chosen to ignore these obligations solemnly undertaken with the assent of the American people.
