I enjoy it as well. I actually like fighting quite a bit, I took a break cause it stoped being fun for me.
But I've been known to crack up laughing during a fight, specially when I throw a whiffer.
But then I'm also known for cursing like a sailor and I've had to explain to the men folk that I'm not cursing at them but myself. |

I might humbly suggest you consider checking out our Scholum curriculum -- particularly the 201 section -- where we very much focus on practical exercises and techniques for improving relaxation, concentration, and focus (most of which is directly form best practices sports psychology).

Right next door should be a nice hot spot for men who compliment female fighters on their aggression.

I'm not sure I entirely agree...I mean, I absolutely do think it's silly to tell people to smile while they're fighting. This isn't exactly ice skating here; it doesn't matter what your face looks like inside your helm. (Although I don't think there's anything wrong with smiling while one is fighting. I know I tend to have a ridiculous grin on my face most of the time when I'm fighting. )
But when it comes aggression, it depends on why they're complimenting you. If they're complimenting you because women usually aren't aggressive enough, then that's an issue. But if they're telling you that you're fighting well (i.e., that you're not simply reacting to your opponents blows but are attempting to take control of the fight yourself), then I don't see anything wrong with the compliment. |
