Hullo all.

Alright, so I am not such a kid. I will be 30 in May and all. But most people seem to think I am just entering my twenties so I still get to say it! Of course, most people think I am a young man when they meet me soooo maybe I should not be going with the popular opinion.

Regardless! I am just now joining the SCA up here in Caer Galen, and I am looking forward to being involved in heavy weapons fighting. I am an emergency medical technician and a Kendo practitioner in my mundane life, so I am already accustomed to screaming like a banshee and taking a beating. I am not quite anywhere near their level. But I like to share! What background I have in Kendo is leading me toward using a two handed sword in battle, methinks, and I am excited to get more involved. Of course, I also recognize the need to keep the two separate (Kendo and Heavy Fighting) since the styles have some dramatic difference. But yes!

I'm also an EMT and firefighter and I just had my first day of paramedic class today.
