Hi All,

I will start off by saying I am *almost* brand new to the SCA I found it back in April and joined on the spot. After a few fighter practices I decided I was tired of sitting on the sidelines and wanted to fight. I have been in loaner armor a couple of times and now almost have my own kit finished! I am really quite excited and can't wait to fight every weekend. I found the forum as soon as I started researching female fighters and have decided to join. I am really excited to learn as much as possible and kick some butt in the process Smile

One small hint.

Everybody practices once a week. For rapid progress, practice twice a week.

Freiman- I am actually doing a sword drill once a week now and then also the fighter practice. I will def. be getting to as many practices as possible after I finish with this semester...night classes make everything more difficult.

I'm part of Tidal Thunder Clan and the Amazon Household. I'm also the Knight Marshal for the Barony of Raven's Fort. Yeah, I'm the one trying to move my herd of cats - I mean male fighters from place to place. Physically I'm not able to do rapier or armored combat but I'm hell on wheels with a crossbow and a sling. Can't do a regular bow for a while since I'm still recovering from rotator cuff surgery (sweet gum tree roots are dangerous and will throw you to the ground).

Have my helm, my Baron is working on my elbows and knees. My Centurion is giving me his crossbow. I think they either like me or are scared of me. Going to go with lamellar armor as I'm rather chesty.
