Medieval artists' conceptions of women in armor, ranging from fanciful to practical. The women are often shown bareheaded or with female headdresses and/or in long gowns/skirts to distinguish them from the male figures in the artwork. Nevertheless, they look fairly formidable.

I sent in a pic of me and my kit and explained who I was but they didn't post it. I wonder if they would post pics of real women in armor who actually fight if they got a whole bunch.

I submitted an old artwork piece I had commissioned.

I'm a big old gamer geek and for 7 years I played/role-played a female dark elf warrior. during that time I had a number of artwork pieces commissioned for her, this is one of the main ones that was done.

Of all the different reasons, she (Sylexis) is probably the number one reason I am in armor now. Because I wanted to know what it really felt like to be that warrior that I role-played about for years.
