After eight years off from consistently heavy fighting (up in Druimm Doineann, An Tir), I'm back putting a heavy kit together down in Atlantia (both because I'm changing personas from Viking Age to 1380s Norway, and because the only part of my armor that both still fits and is functional is my helm.)

I actually found you guys while googling for helm padding techniques and looking for swordmaiden which seems to have gone away in the intervening years.

Anyway, when I'm not out hitting things, I'm interested in clocks, maritime navigational technologies, and historic astronomy. And when I'm out actually working for a living I'm a history Ph. D. candidate.

I just wanted to drop in a say hi, and now I'm back off to helm padding!
