| He is going to interview two lady knights, film it and then post it to youtube - if you ever wanted to ask a lady knight a question, post it here and I will pass it on. |

Cool! I miss the Pain Bank podcast a lot and keep wishing someone would do something similar. I'm looking forward to seeing it. _________________ It's not the most powerful animal that survives. It's the most efficient. -Georges St-Pierre

Describe your biggest hurdle along your path to knighthood and how you overcame it.
Have you ever regretted being knighted or felt like the demands were too great?
Describe your typical training/fighting week. |

Did you ever run into times where you felt like your progress plateaued, and how did you get past those?
What is the single best piece of advice you received on your path to knighthood and/or would give someone on their path to knighthood? _________________ Arsalan (formerly Alana Goodewyn), proud squire on her path to knighthood

What are the politics like regarding knighthood for women in your kingdom?
Which stereotypes were the hardest for you to overcome? |

How has motherhood affected your path, your brain, your body? (I know Rauokinn is a mom, is Mari?)
I feel like an ass that I feel this needs to be asked. It still kicks my butt. |

| Lotta good beginning advice there. Sometime I'd like to see a sequel for those of us in that great middle ground between having gotten able to fight and knighthood. Because sometimes it feels like that cartoon with the math professor at the chalkboard with a bunch of equations at the beginning and a formula at the end and the "and then a miracle occurs" in between. Thanks for doing it. That has got to be rather uncomfortable. |

Watched it today. There's a lot of good information there that I think can really help new fighters. I hadn't seen the tip about the shield handle before though and I'd been having the exact problem so I will have to try changing the angle as a solution when I make my next shield. _________________ It's not the most powerful animal that survives. | I don't grok that one, but I've never used a rigid shield handle and the strapping tradition I like uses a broken wrist on purpose. But I've never had any issue with wrist pain or anything. It might be a style of use thing, or just a strap having enough give. |

My favorite handgrip I don't know how to duplicate. It was on a bucklet my white scarf made, using a pair of leather straps. When you grabbed them, the whole thing tightened up on your hand like magic. I don't know how exactly to do it.
I would like to try some different options though. I always feel a little like I'm fighting my shield grip. _________________ It's not the most powerful animal that survives. It's the most efficient. -Georges St-Pierre

| My knight used one like that on a couple of his smaller shields. But it seems way tricky to make work for any length of time since it depends on tension. |
