| The next thing I'll be fighting at is probably Sapphire. Anybody else playing? |

FROM THE AUTOCRAT OF YMIR - IMPORTANT
Hi everybody... crosspost this far and wide please.
Here it is in a nutshell -
The Frost Giants have obviously continued their assault on Atlantia. But we will not cancel. We Cannot Cancel. We Shall Fight them on the Icebergs, We shall Fight them in the crevasse, We shall Fight them on the Frozen Tundra, We shall Never Surrender...
[sorry. I'm channeling Churchill again. -Blackbow]
1. the field that we normally camp/fight on is under 4 inches of ice because it's a low spot. What that means is this:
a. don't bother bringing camping gear. There's nowhere to pitch a tent in four inches of ice.
b. Don't bother bringing pavilions. See a) above.
If you were planning on pitching a tent or pavilion, please accept our apologies. Alternate arrangements will be made for heavy fighting and rapier. Archery....um. I don't know. It may or may not be affected by the current layer of ice.
2. The field that we normally use for parking is under ice/snow/sleet/water/mud/blah. What that means is this:
a. Don't try to park in it. We don't care if you have a 4x4 or not. Please don't try to park in it.
b. Alternate parking will consist of the staff telling you where to park. Please, please listen. Especially around the cabins.
c. Alternate parking will also consist of willing volunteers shuttling people to a parking lot about 3/4 mile away.
Any other questions, I would suggest emailing the appropriate contacts. http://ymir.windmastershill.org/
Regards
Jonathan Blackbow

| Yeah, it's all going to be a bit more amusing than one could wish. And now it is supposed to be snowing there Friday night/Saturday morning. That said - the intrepid Ponte Alto caravan is proceeding down as planned. Wish us luck and I'll try and tell stories when I get back. |

| The winter storms have indirectly forced the cancellation of another Atlantian event; St. Paddy's Day Bloodbath in Ponte Alto has just been canceled because the field is far too wet and muddy from the winter snows and we're expecting more rain before the weekend. |

It's a rough year. We've often held Bloodbath in the rain, but the park was very worried about their field, so....
There will be a practice held at the Tysons Pimmit Library practice site - which boasts a picnic shelter and some basketball courts we can probably co-opt to fight on. There will be the traditional bearpit and work is proceeding to lure an MOL so that we can still authorize folks who were planning on authorizing on their way down to Gulf Wars. |

Im back out of hibernating and gonna get somewhat caught up on here. I saw Cunian at Blackstone and it got me thinking about getting back on here. I dont spend too much time on the AA either though...but its more than Ive been active on here
Ymir was crazy weather. Somehow managed to make it there only because we all left early saturday morning.
I was nervous because I made a special scroll for my BF and he didnt know about it and I just wanted the suspense to be over with!!
As for Sapphire, I might be going. I want to go and if my shoulder is feeling better I will fight also! My new fighting tunic will be done and hopefully I will get crackin on some pants.
Later,
