I never feel like I actually 'know' a fighter, however much we've talked or interacted online, unless we've fought.
In that vein, and in wishing I could actually fight some of you, and in noticing that the SCA is pretty incestuous really - I'm trying to think of a way to tell who of us has fought each other, or fought someone who's fought another member.
I've fought Robyn, Freiman, Sir Roisin, Sir Corby, Sir Bryce de Byram, Sir Guy, Maxntropy, Maria-Therese, Helga, and Aaron that I know of for sure that are on here. Certainly a few others I'm overlooking or I'm not connecting with their screen names. |

I haven't fought anybody outside of Atenveldt except in melee situations, in which case I'm sure I've killed and been killed by people we all know mutually at Estrella War. 
In about three years, which I am guessing is about the length of time it's going to take for my and my husband to both finish school and finally get settled income wise, I am gonna put my travelling hat on and come out to Pennsic and Gulf and whatnot. I have a real mind to come and meet and beat all the women from this board as I can and a bunch of the guys from the Archive I really like.

And to be fair, although Cunian very wisely makes great effort at pickups (for certain at Atlantia events and I believe at Pennsic as well), she's fought a few of us on that list *alot*.
Which just goest to show ya, that to introduce yourself to a much wider range of styles, techniques, and fighters, you just have to travel outside your region -- and especially to the inter-Kingdom events where you can really meet (and beat) new folks.
