The Shire of Port Oasis in southern Aethelmearc (Huntington, WV) is presenting the 16th Tournament of the White Hart, March 2-4. This year we will celebrate La Diada de Sant Jordi (late 15th c).

White Hart offers fencing, archery, bardic, and A&S tourneys and competitions, and features a heavy tournament. The Lord and Lady (consort) of the White Hart are chosen from the heavy tournament, not by prowess, but by chivalric measure.

I'm not sure what style of tournament this year's Lord of the White Hart will choose, but there will also be pick-ups available all weekend. It's a great event overall, and I know that this year's promises to be just as fun. (I hear the Catalan-style feast will be pretty awesome, too. This may or may not have anything to do with my role as co-feastocrat. ;D)

Boy, that's a lost way southwest for Port Oasis, right near Ohio and Kentucky. Little far for me, but I currently plan to get to Blackstone Raids later in the year.

I think most people are pretty far off from Port Oasis, haha. I'll be at BSR too! Hopefully the melee won't be a giant mudpit like it was last year.
