Would love to go, but after 4 events in 5 weeks, I need a break to do some much needed house work, and down time.

It was great meeting you! This was my first melee at an event, and it was great fun.

I was only miffed that we had to stop fighting so soon!

Glad you had fun, and good to meet you. It was unfortunate that the storm closed down the field just then as I would have loved to have sparred with you. We've got to get them on board with a big fighting day Friday. I kept thinking pick-ups would happen, but no marshals and crickets generally.

I'm with you! I was a bit disappointed that they ended it so early, it took me most of the day to get to where I felt ramped up enough to really fight fight, but alas...

I'm sure we'll meet again, are you going to War Practice?

It's up in the air. I may be able to abandon the family and hitch a ride, but I don't know. Life would be so much better if they'd get that transporter beam technology working, LOL.

I was at our clanne's Beltaine event, or I would have been there. We got sleeted on where we were- what kind of weather did ya'll have?

I know right! Nearly a 4 hour drive for us, but it was worth it.

We got some rain, their may have been a couple minutes of hail, but it was nice. Smile

I was there! Authorized great weapon on Friday, but my tonsils and spleen swelled Friday night due to some tonsil troubles, and I didn't fight on Saturday during the melee. Greatly upset me. Next year!

Oh! I saw you fighting Friday night before the bearpit. My daughter had a similar situation. Got to fight about 5min Friday before she had a fluke thing where one of the sword and axe guys knock her sword out of her hand and then double tapped her half gauntlet. She was fine,but couldn't hold a sword well enough to fight Saturday.

Yep! That was my authorization. I also saw you fighting some pickups with my friends after the melee on Saturday. Big guy in green and black and the guy in leather lamellar with the red shield. Very Happy

I hope your daughter's hand recovers quickly! I took a similar blow from a great sword last fall and had to sit out a couple months while it recovered.
