Mainly because I am not in the SCA for a persona, really in it just to beat friends with sticks and get kewl bruises and scars Most of the guys that took me under their wing were 14th century English and I'm more a follower than a leader. Plus I'm not big into fru-fru garb when I'm not in armour so plain ole cotehardies and sidelesses are right up my alley.

Never really been able to get into the idea of having a persona - when I'm at events I'm just me, just called by a different name tho tend to be more flirty. Had joked about my persona being a courtesan. It's neat seeing those that really go to the nines with their persona - my ex had his biography and such all down. Me, I like plain and simple and just having a period name is enough for me.
