April 24-27: I just found out I can ditch the family and bum a ride. Probably mostly only be there Saturday though. Never been to this before so I'm excited.

This is only my second year. Last year I learned that I need to be prepared for the COLD if I am camping.

Also that I need to be sure to eat breakfast on Saturday and bring something to snack on to the field. We fought melee after melee from like 11:00 to 4:00. I thought I was going to die. I was SO hungry at the end of the day.

I think I will just cross my fingers and hope for decent camping weather. I am pretty tough with camping conditions and not that keen on dorm situations. The main nuisance is that we aren't leaving DC until 6pm, so the next 2 hours will probably be spent getting next to nowhere in traffic. Will definately bring munchies. I'll be with the Atlantians - Barony of Ponte Alto.
