As it's not an SCA event this year and little info can be found on line I thought I might post the info here:

Clinton War has been going on for 30 years in Clinton BC, Canada:

Announcement from Viscountess Maelen and Viscount Scellanus
The Clinton War is on!
Viscountess Maelen and Viscount Scellanus invite any and all to participate in the Clinton Creek War. The usual style of combat, Tavern, classes and festivities will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2009. Please note that this is not an official SCA event. The traditional work week July 25 to 31 will precede the war. We ask everyone to join in and help with everything from teaching classes to setting up parking lots to celebrate the 30th Clinton War. There is no site fee this year, however donations in cash or in kind to help cover expenses would be warmly welcomed. Please note that anyone under the age of 19 must have a special minor waiver and medical consent form signed by their parent or guardian in order to attend.

Directions: Take Highway 97 to Clinton. From the south, travel to the other end of town and turn left onto MacDonald. From the north, turn right onto MacDonald. When the road forks, take the right hand fork that continues up the hill and turns into a gravel road. Follow the surveyors tape. Cross the railway tracks and the cattle guard. Just after the cattle guard, the road forks again. Take the left fork. Stay on this road and you will see a reservoir on the left. Just past this is the main gate. Please close the gate and continue until you reach the site proper.
