I feel like I'm taking them away from their own practice if I ask them to train with me, and in my head, my brain says "Well, thats rude, you should let them go have a good practice instead of holding them back to train you." |
Perhaps you worried that you will not give them the type or level of fight that you think that they think you will give (give who your b/f is *wink* sorry I am having 'puter problems and smilies don't work).
ie performance anxiety.
I actively seek out people with a higher skill level than myself to fight. If I went to a raw noob and asked to fight, I would be kinda a bully, right (or have 'other' issues). (I consider myself a low-mid level mid level fighter, as I have been unable to fight ALOT for the past 2 years)
However, when someone asks me to dance, I look at it as a compliment.
Go fight, have fun!
Looking forward to meeting you, perhaps at DubDub this year (HRH Tom is a good friend, and my Knight, Sir Morgan Olander, recently moved to NS).
