Still finding that i feel much better during period!! Acupuncturist said thats when everything is moving and flowing so it makes sense. Right before period everything is kind of stagnant thats why symptoms may feel worse. I feel almost back to normal even energy (you would think i'd have less while bleeding lol) but right when it starts to end i feel a shift. It's not as severe as before but energy def changes, headaches may return as well as bladder stuff..I feel like i have a PHD in the charting of my cycles and it's variations..geezzzzzzz. Pre pill i think i was like most women, period time is when i was the most sluggish and off..weird how different it is now. I wonder if it will return to that, the more and more i get balanced...

Continued healing-Kelly

The ONLY time I feel a slight bit better is the second day of my cycle up until day 11. It's all downhill after that. It's flabbergastingly predictable. After 25 months, I still have leg pain by the hour. It is especially heavy at my upper left leg.

Kelly,

I think the progesterone cream can help you with this. And maybe even do day 8-28 in the beginning. Your body is probably building up too much estrogen during the cycle...

Yes, over two years. The very day I started Yaz I felt my veins were busting up. I thought it was a temporary side effect. Every day got worse and when I quit, it continued to intensify for 5 months before there was any leveling off. I could not walk for three months. Just the other week I felt it was still so hard to take a shower and remain standing for that amount of time. If this had happened to a celebrity there would be a serious outcry. There has been some improvement, but I have leg pain every single day of my life, and am by no means "cured" during that first week of the cycle, only better. I had two lumps in my left leg for awhile. There is no sanity in this. I have tried testosterone recently, but a different doctor says testosterone can convert into just more estrogen.

Ohh Silky so sorry and only on it for 5 days!! It's the craziest poison ever!! So there was a leveling off but it still is bad..my symptoms are similar, not as bad but def not gone either. Is that your main one now? How's weight gain and the rest? How does testosterone supposedly help your stuff?? Hang in there lady..

The chest pain has gone down to only about 2 days per month (latter part of cycle) so I'm happy about that. My pulse stayed up and still very hot hands (and veins in the palms of my hands). My extra 33 pounds are still there. The thing is you'd have to know me to believe it! People have been screaming at me for the past 19 years that I'm going to become anorexic, and now I look ridiculous, as I'm really short and don't need this extra weight. I was never anorexic, but I'm just saying what people thought. I'm puzzled about the testosterone, but maybe it's progesterone that I actually need.

Funny how we all have such varied symptoms, I've had very achy legs but nothing like what you're describing..mine def been more head, tummy, weird bladder, terrible fatigue and mood stuff. So glad your chest pains have almost vanished, sure weight will regulate once you're even more balanced. That would be hard though, i've also always been really small so thirty more pds would be weird. I do however have more abdominal fat than ever, use to be much more flat. I'm still pretty inactive though so that doesn't help.. so tough to still exercise often. I'm really thinking about trying progesterone too, might level out more things i seem to have lots of signs of excess estrogen..but who really knows, most have similar symptoms be it progesterone or estrogen. Yea still not sure what testosterone would do, if you find out plz share. Wishing continued and progressive health in the new year!!! Stay strong Confused

Hi doots,
I'm back and can tell you about that testosterone now. I stayed on it about 5 months. I took it thinking that it would balance out excess estrogen. The person who prescribed it to me (at 15 bucks a month, not bad) was different from the doctor who recommended it to me (and was going to charge almost $2000.00 for it). Then yet another doctor said it could convert back into more estrogen, so I quit. Well, at first I thought it helped a little (not much, but like 5 percent relief), but after quitting, I felt really not any better and not any worse. I told them I was not interested in making my voice deeper or go bald, but they said don't be ridiculous----they weren't going to give mega doses. They did say it might give a bit of facial hair. But for me it really didn't do much of anything, no mustache or whatever besides maybe help me lose 4 pounds (it's back up). If you read the Pamela Smith book about hormones, it looks like an estrogen deficiency can give some of the same symptoms as estrogen excess and testosterone excess and progesterone deficiency. So now that I've thoroughly confused you, go ahead and start reading about hormones and get even more confused. Sorry!

Oh I cannot agree more about just how confusing all this hormone business is. I've been struggling for 15 months now, sometimes convinced I have too much estrogen, sometimes that I have very little progesterone and now I'm more on the 'low estrogen' side.
I think the only way to really find out is the saliva testing. I'm collecting my samples now so hopefully, that will make things bit clearer for me!

Hey kat, how are you doing overall? Did you continue with reflexology or try anything new that worked? How do you go about with saliva testing? I always forget to try that but sometimes i wonder if that would even really show anything. Still convinced its a matter of time that will really help in healing and rebalancing. I mean i do what i can on my end but my body still does what it wants when it wants..boooo!! I'm 20 mths off and severity of symptoms have eased but still have them as well as stubborn ass relapses..arrgghhhhhh. Hope you're improving too, even if so slow at times Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Continued healing-Kelly

Hi Kelly,

I only decided to do the saliva testing because I always feel much worse soon after my period starts. And I do not understand if it’s because my estrogens fall too low or they do not fall enough. The symptoms are almost identical but the ways to correct it quite different so if I’m going to try something new I want to be sure I’m trying in the right direction.
Also, I had hair mineral analysis done and started a new course of supplements based on the results. It clearly stated in the report I might feel some discomfort as the minerals will start to displace toxins previously stored in tissues so I’m guessing that’s part of my problem. It would certainly explain why I suddenly started to feel so much worse. I’m going to cut down on some of the supplements and see. I have to continue the regime for about 3 months and then retest.
Also, as I quite worried now that there might be something else going on but doctors here in the UK are just a waste of time and space so I will be travelling soon to my native Slovakia to have some proper tests done there. Not so much to find the solution but more to ease my mind by ruling out anything serious.
I want my life back!!!!!

Hope you’re doing well. What are your remaining symptoms?

Hugs,

Kat

For me, I feel amazing right after my period for a couple of weeks. Then halfway through my cycle, I start feeling like how I did on Yasmin. Once my period starts though, those symptoms start to dissipate a bit and then eventually I start feeling way better after the period.
