Hi girls, I've just gone past the 4 month mark, so thought I would update you all, I'm trying to do this every month to keep track of changes/improvements etc.

My main problem has been hairloss and unfortunately this hasn't yet improved, it has slowed down a little bit, but not much. eyelashes and eyebrows still fall out randomly and hair is still very brittle and thin but i know that this is all part of the process and i've just got to be patient.

Up until recently i had been very lucky with my skin since coming off yasmin, i had one or two break outs but nothing to stress about, but over the last week or so i've had loads! they seem to be around my jaw line and cheeks, theyre like little cysts and i've seen a few posts on here from women that have had the same thing around the 4 month mark, its very strange how we all experience these things around the same time!

Thats most of the bad side effects out of the way so on a brighter note, headaches are still completely gone and havent returned, energy levels are getting back on track, my mood has improved hugely- im beginning to feel back to the old me again and my periods are regulating.

I know this is going to be a long process and I've got a long way to go yet but these little improvements give me hope that one day I'll be fully back to my old self Smile and I can honestly say that months 2 and 3 were awful, but these last two weeks I've felt a whole lot better! So there is hope girls! Hang on in there! Hopefully next month I will have more positive updates Smile

K x

hello k4 just like yourself i have just passed the four month mark to and so far so good. i canot believe i lost 18months of my life due to my never ending health problems and it took me so long to make the connection , just never entered ny head that bc could do so much damage to my health and well being . i can honestly say that i havent really suffered since coming off or i the symptoms are so mild that i havent noticed!!!!! i mentioned to my doctor that all the issues i suffered while on yasmin have all gone since coming off and i know yasmin was the cause, he did not patronise me but said if i have seen a major improvement sinse stopping then it could may well of been due to bc. AT LAST !!!!!!! WE FINALLY GET A DOCTOT THAT DOESNT SAY THAT BC WAS NOT THE CAUSE!!!!!!!
