Hi girls, not sure what to make of this pea size purple bruise like spot thats appeared on the inside of my arm. It looks a bit like petechiae but theres no rash, just a single spot. its really quite prominent and ive never had anything like this before. i havent pinched my skin or anything either.. i've been off yasmin two weeks and im wondering if this could be a problem with my vein? i was on a 5 hour straight coach journey yesterday and im a little concerned Confused anyone had anything like this? x

I did get several angiomas from Yaz. I was so hot and my skin was on fire so badly that I can only guess that my capillaries had no where to go but outward. This took a number of weeks to surface after Yaz, and while I do not generally get new angiomas now, I still get flaming hot skin (26 months later), the likes of which feels like it could induce tissue death. The new surfacing of angiomas stopped about 8 months after quitting Yaz. They are red and quite a bit smaller than a pea, most likely permanent. Everything I've experienced with Yaz has been vein related (or weight gain), from pipes in the chest (chest pain) to yukky green veins on legs to the limb pain which accompanies this all. I wish I could say, "Here's what you do", but no one has been any help. (One doctor did call mine angioma, because I was trying to use the word petechiae at that time. Yours may be different.)

I had when I went off yasmin purple little bruises all over my body. Mostly on the fatty parts of my arms and the back of my legs. I was a little worried but they all went away after being off yasmin for a few months.
