I am in my first month OFF of the pill...Can you relate?
Symptoms:
-Indigestion, burping, heartburn
-IBS (abdominal discomfort, constipation, bloating)
-Occasional nausea
-Extreme fatigue/weakness/lack of motivation
-Breast itchiness/soreness
If so, how long did it take for you symptoms to go away? |

Glad I found this, I have had bad heartburn for the past few days. 3.5 weeks off the poison. I've tried Tums/Pepcid and neither helped.
Extreme fatigue/weakenss, and total lack of motivation. Nausea and dizziness still comes and goes. I can't do anything with my spare time or weekends except wait for the next day and hope I feel better.
The anxiety gets no better because it seems as soon as one symptom improves something else comes along for you to worry about! |

Me!
Worse the first few months especially in months 3 - 5. I'm a year off and still occasionally have problems. (My Doc thought I had an ulcer at one point and was put on pills to stop acid production which helped).
Its worse if I am naughty and have a takeout (rare).
It has got better though! |

Hi Lucia,
This is a little long since your reply but I'm quite freaked out over my stomach issues
May I know how long did it take eventually for your stomach discomfort to go away entirely? |

I've been off almost 2 years...
The first 3 months off, my stomach problems were really bad.
Months 4-9 I still experienced problems on & off, depending on what I ate, but it wasn't as severe as the first 3 months.
By about one year off, I stopped having any problems at all.
Now, I haven't had any stomach problems in over a year. Hopefully, this means that they will eventually resolve for everyone and even faster than they did for me! |
