Just wondering for all the ladies that have been off for quite awhile, if you still have bad relapses ever? Been off 21 mths and although more tolerable still have some relapses that are quite strong...makes me so defeated at times, pain is exhausting..thx for any feedback

Me - been off about the same amount of time and occasionally have a relapse where I feel I am back to square one, usually when I have not been taking care of myself. I can't get away with being lax about my health and well being now BUT I do sem to shake them off quicker and have (I think) figured out what helps - Berocca Vitamins. Strange but this seems to have the perfect balance of what I need.

Keep strong, its hard but try to hang onto the thought that at least now there are times where you feel ok and even well, and for me at least these good phases are longer and more frequent. x

Lucia thx much for response. Acupuncture and herbs were working really well for me and now this last mth has been really off. I feel like i haven't been doing much differently and taking care of myself too. I've had more mild relapses but this one is bad, which in turn makes my emotions crazy too, i get so anxious and then depressed thinking its not ever going to truly improve. So its like daily severe PMS!!! Never heard of those vitamins, need to check that out. Felt really, really alone today, feedback always helps..thx again Smile

Kelly, so sorry you are feeling like this.
I am now with my family in Slovakia but still pretty much in bed - and that's 16 months off!!!!
I'm a mental, emotional and physical wreck!

So sorry Kat, wish i could give you a timeline of when it will get better for good, but still have no idea even for myself. Glad you're surrounded by family though, maybe that will help your recovery time. I'm still struggling with having to work during all of this..hang in there and vent whenever you need too!!! xo

Its so sad to see that girls are still suffering even after being off for some time. Sad I wonder if 'full' recovery is possible or realistic (and by that I mean back to how we were 'before the poison'?

Do we know anyone who has fully recovered? Confused

Agree with doots that fully is a tough word... and I guess there are some who feel better and don't come in here anymore.

Been 3 mths off and I am feeling a wee bit better. Initially I was very scared what with all the weird side effects and kept coming in here for support. When I got better, I log on lesser because I was afraid to "relive" the horrible moments. But I tell myself that I must try to come in here to offer support to the rest.
