It is time.
I have been thinking about this for a LONG time and have decided to actually do it, finally!

I know many of you are really passionate about spreading the word on how dangerous these pills are to anyone who will listen, but what if we could spread the word to some more?!

I have had people ask me about having t-shirts made up for us – and I think it is a really good way to reach out to people that we may not discuss this with in general. Just think about everyone that may look at your clothing when you are on the treadmill at the gym or walking around in the grocery store. Getting the message out there is important. And doing it this way can give all of you a chance to spread the word without saying a single word!

Here is the idea
I already have a company started for making clothes so I will distribute it through it, making the accounting part easier. BUT I have also spoken to my accountant to have a part of the profit actually GO BACK to YOU GIRLS! I do not want to make money through this venture – I ONLY WANT TO GIVE BACK! So the profit will go back to help spreading the word on the danger of the pill.. maybe one day we will be able to sponsor a book?!

I will keep you updated on this thread!

Much LOVE
~Helena

I think a great color for the Yasmin shirts would be the same purple that is used for the case for the actual pill package.. purple also happens to be my fave color..

I don't know what the Yaz packaging looks like though..

You are awesome!! You have so many good ideas. Smile

You mentioned that the shirt would be cut for women, but would you be making one for men as well? I know there are a lot of supportive husbands/boyfriends who would like to help spread the word too after watching what their significant other has gone through. Maybe their shirt would be a little different.

Can't wait to hear more about this idea Smile

Hi girls.

Thanks for your responses. I need to order 36 t-shirts at least of each print (36 for Yaz and 36 for Yasmin).

Martha, I like the idea of getting a "supporting t-shirt" for our men out there, but we might have to wait a little bit for that one.

I need the people that actually want a tshirt to email me at candieink@live.com to let me know.. Unless I get around 36 requests of each I can't do it. (off course the smaller the order amount is the less money can be put towards the bucket to give back).

I would like us, the actual suffering women, to be able to ware the same t-shirt as our supporting sisters or friends - so maybe "Yasmin Survivor" wouldn't do it?? what do you think? Maybe something like "Watch out for Yasmin - It can ruin your life" or something similar.

PLEASE ALL THAT WOULD LIKE A T-SHIRT - EMAIL ME!

In the meantime, please send me your suggestions and quotes.

Much Love,
Helena

Hey Helena what about a shirt like they did for Ghostbusters movie? Yasmin/Ocella or Yaz with a circle and slash through it...think it would be pretty self -explanatory and attention getting?? -Kelly

Hi Helena!

You know I've always been interested in the t-shirt idea. So glad you have taken the steps to make it all happen.

Maybe it could say something along the lines of "Sisters united against Yasmin & Yaz".

Bear in mind that Yasmin is in fact a girls name- so if we have shirts with Yasmin with a big cross through it - then we may get in trouble!

If you have us united against both Yasmin AND Yaz- you might only have to make the one shirt. Our side effects and experiences are all similar regardless of which pill we were on. Not to mention... I, personally, am against them BOTH! They are just as bad as each other in my opinion.

If you could provide a rough estimate of the cost of the t-shirts and obviously postage (Aussie girl here!), I could let you know how many I'm after. I'm sure a few of my friends and maybe even my Mum would be happy to support and purchase a shirt & wear it proudly Smile

Hope this finds you well!
Sarina

Hi Sarina!!

So lovely to hear from you again. I actually like "Sisters united against Yasmin & Yaz" very much!

I think the t-shirts would be $20, NOT more. And the shipping in US would be $2, Canada $4-5, Worldwide $6-10 is my guess. I haven't done any weights and that yet, but it usually is around that.

The more t-shirts I order, and get sold the more would go to profit (to support the women here) since each tee would get cheaper to print the more I do.. I HOPE that I can sell 100, but it looks like I am going to have to start lower for now.

Hello Everyone.

I have found that many of you have a hard time writing a ONE sentence statement on everything you have been through while on yasmin/yaz or coming off it. It is IMPOSSIBLE to collect everything in one sentence, but hopefully with a little piece here and there, we can all together show a pretty good picture of how this poison has effected us all.

You can even send me a few different ones so I can make sure we get all the horrible side effects on there. I could off course always just list the side effects, but I don't think the impact would be as good if we did it like that.

Send me everything you got ladies!

xoxoxox - As always

I survived Yaz.

I survived Yasmin.

( on the back of the t-shirt )

Like little heart on the front right or a little happy face on the front to the right...
