/hitsound

Doesn't seem to be working 4 me. When I type it in the console, it says hitsound on. But I'll be darned if I can hear it. Doesn't work on ecg or hp servers.

I rebooted and tried again with the same result on both servers. And don't say, "Well you gotta hit something" cause I already got that from those I asked on the servers lol. Had no hitsounds and still had best accuracy on both servers for the rounds I played today. But I use less ammo with it working and like to hear it better.

Any ideas?

Rams try typing /s_stop 1 if I remember right - maybe your sound got stuck and needs to be restarted - /s_stop stops all looped sounds - It helped me when I had no gunshot sound sometimes

hey I've got it!! You might be missing a soundpack.pk3 file in shrubmod folder! Check if you have it, if not, here's mine:
http://www.zit.pl/soundpack.pk3
This should do it, just download the file to RTCW\shrubmod directory and try enabling it again in the console
