That will probably never change...thats just how it is Sad

You need to find youre own way to get rich and more richer. And while you get more richer you need to keep youre head cool and keep very good memory's of the day's you wasnt that rich and whit that thought in mind you need to help other people get more richer so they can do the same for other people and continieung like this.

Seriously though, if you think that we have little freedom nowadays you really need to look back at History, starting at the 1100's onwards to fully put into context how much more freedom we have nowadays, compared to the poor bastards who lived back in those times. One quick example off the top of my head is King Henry VIII of England around the 1500's who put to death around 70,000 people during his reign, just for trivial little things. Also, compulsory Conscription into the Armed Forces for most of our countries (Apart from Germany) doesn't happen anymore, unlike those poor 18 and 19 year olds that were forced to fight in WW2. Things like that don't happen nowadays.

We should count ourselves lucky really and be mindful of History before we turn into a generation of spoilt brats.

I prefer this version of the Taser event:

He might have been asked beforehand not to ask certain questions but deliberately contavened what was asked?:

If youre told not to ask certain q's then you dont have the freedom to ask what you want and probly the q's they dont want you to ask are the q's that on most people's mind's.

About the history you tell us--> Its from history we teach wats wright or wrong and there are many revolutions that make things beter so basicly people fighted for that freedom and you dont have to face King Henry's afterafter..... son.

those poor 18 and 19 year olds that were forced to fight in WW2. Things like that don't happen nowadays.--> Lol men you might have to take a Jeep and take a drive tru Africa and if youre back try and convince me there arent childsoldiers in that continent childern starting from age 4 or 5 (or sooner) in batlle taking life's and getting shot, killed. And if youre driving to Africa take spin around Iraq and Israeli/Palestina.But hey youre right there not 18y or 19y old. Most of them dont live until that age.

And why you say "before we turn into a generation of spoilt brats. "?
Is it because we have good home's ,cellphones,Tv,cars, jobs, safe place's to live, school's we should shut up and agree with anything that has been told to us and shut up about it even if we dont agree.Kinda sound like bribery to me.

All governments have their own short comings and inadequacies and they often are exhibited more often than all of the great things the government provides for us.

I am upset with my government for having poor climate change regulations and for not following up on their Kyoto obligations. However, I appreciate universal health care, affordable post-secondary education, and a legal drinking age of 19 (18 in some provinces) cheers, eh!

So even at times when the government looks lame, there are multitudes of examples where they are improving our standards of living. Of course, this only applies to developed countries.

I don't know much about politics at all. I just don't like getting triple taxed!! Granted, my property taxes on my home are much cheaper than in other places in the country. But here, I also have to pay property taxes on my friggin vehicles every year. And where the hell does all this money go? 5-7% sales tax, property taxes, income taxes, gas tax, tobaco tax...tax for this... tax for that....

It's a bunch of bs if you ask me. Someone is getting paid too much...cause I don't see it going for anything else. The roads in the country suck, schools are sucking, gas prices suck, bla bla bla...

I've been to no other country, but from my life spent here, this county gets suckier and suckier every year!

So yall move to our country! It's a free country!!
But they fail to tell ya that you have to pay dearly for that freedom!

I need a beer!!!

According to an American colleague the US tax system is very simple because everything is taxable in the US.

A client was send on a assignment to the US and he sold his house in the Netherlands plus some stocks which he sold it with a loss but because of the exchange rate it seems that he didn’t sold it with a loss. The poor guy still had to pay tax over this “income” in the US. Unfortunately they always come for advice when they have already sold everything and have to pay tax

Yeah, we're having to pay water charges for something that we've already paid for in our rates. We pay road tax, is that the same as property tax for vehicles?

No doubt there! Thats where all the money goes, the space program. And wtf for?? Who gives a rip about Mars? We can't take care of our own planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And another thing....lol....Social Security?! Wtf!! Being self employed, I have to pay almost double, than if I worked for a company. I'm talkin' twice as much than state and federal taxes combined! And is it going to be there for me when I get old and need it??? Doubt it!

I could go on for days about all this. It's always really chapped my a$$! Especially the last 7 years from which I've worked for myself. Be easier to just work for someone...the pay all works out in the end.
